Fihankra is a spiritual, cultural and economic development movement with the historic aim of re-integrating Africa with its Diaspora. It is a movement guided by theory but grounded in practice. It evolved from the December 9, 1994, historically important Purification of FIHANKRA, which took place in Accra, Ghana, West Africa.

This event provided for the inaugural traditional purification of a specially carved wooden stool and a specially prepared skin of an animal as an Atonement (apology), for the participation of some of Africa
